Jamie Carragher rages at Pascal Struijk in Leeds United win v Wolves
Jamie Carragher has destroyed Leeds United defender Pascal Struijk for his performance against Wolves on Friday evening.
The Whites somehow came back from two goals down to win 3-2 at Molineux, and it was an amazing evening in the end.
Carragher unleashed on Struijk, though, who continued to miss the ball, labelling it as “Stupid” and “Schoolboy stuff.”
Speaking live on Sky Sports Friday Night Football, Carragher made sure not to let his criticism of Struijk slide.
“You’ve got no chance when you’re defenders keep making stupid mistakes,” he said.
“That is schoolboy stuff, that is.”
Embarrassing.
Wow.
What on earth happened at Molineux this evening, with there being simply no chance of this happening at the half-time whistle.
Struijk may have made many mistakes in the first half and it led to us being 2-0 down, but he stood up and was counted in the second period.
With the break coming up for the internationals, the defender certainly needs that rest to be taken out of the spotlight.
What a win, let’s concentrate on the positives and forget about all of those negatives, we are staying up.
