Ian Wright in complete disagreement with Gary Neville over Leeds United vs Crystal Palace prediction
Leeds United’s survival hopes have been boosted in recent weeks, and Daniel Farke deserves huge credit.
The Whites have looked like a transformed team since Daniel Farke switched to a 3-5-2 formation at half-time of their 3-2 defeat to Manchester City.
Since then, Leeds have picked up draws against Liverpool and Brentford, while securing a famous 3-1 win over Chelsea at Elland Road.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is in red-hot goalscoring form with four goals in as many games, and the 28-year-old will want to continue that run when his side hosts Crystal Palace on Saturday night.

Gary Neville and Ian Wright predict Leeds vs Crystal Palace
Ahead of Leeds’ showdown against Crystal Palace, there have been conflicting opinions about the result of the fixture.
While many expect the high-flying eagles to clinch all three points in West Yorkshire, some think the Elland Road atmosphere can inspire the Peacocks to another victory.
Speaking on Stick to Football podcast, Ian Wright thinks Palace will secure a 2-1 win away from home, whereas former Manchester United defender Gary Neville is backing Leeds to win.
“I’m gonna go with Palace, 3-2 Palace,” Wright said, before Neville replied: “Leeds high energy, 2-1 Leeds, I think they’re a lot better.”
Historically, Leeds boasts a solid record against the Eagles, having won 31 of their matches, while their opponents have achieved just 20 wins.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be key against Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace are one of the toughest teams to come against in the Premier League, with Oliver Glasner’s men boasting the third best defence.
A total of just 15 goals conceded is tied with Chelsea, and only league leaders Arsenal have shipped fewer in 2025/26.
Leeds will arguably have limited chances to score – if this narrative continues – and Calvert-Lewin is surely going to play a vital role.
Calvert-Lewin has been mooted for an England call-up after scoring in four successive matches, and his aerial prowess and newfound clinical edge can cause Palace problems at the back.
Farke will just need his side to put quality service into the box, something they’ve done a lot since the start of December.
