Ian Wright gushes over Rasmus Kristensen after what he did in Leeds United Premier League loss v Arsenal
Ian Wright was blown away by Rasmus Kristensen’s effort in the first few seconds of the Leeds United v Arsenal clash at the Emirates on Saturday.
The Gunners won the game 4-1 but faced an early scare right from the kick with the Danish defender taking a shot on goal, forcing a save from Aaron Ramsdale.
It was a sign of intent that Leeds were looking to play on the front foot and showed that with this early effort.

Speaking on Premier League Productions’ weekend show [03/04, 14:11], “Really great effort. And it’s a good save from Ramsdale.”
Would’ve been ideal
An early goal would’ve been ideal for Leeds as it would give them the momentum to try and get something from the game.
Against Bournemouth, that’s what happened and Arsenal needed a late winner to secure the three points for them.
However, Ramsdale saved it well and managed to keep his sheet clean until Leeds finally broke the deadlock through Kristensen.

The Dane played well in a different role and gave Javi Gracia an additional midfield option and he could be used there in the future as well.
There were positives Leeds will have taken from this game, but they need to be doing more in order to get points over the line.
In other Leeds United news, a teenager now looks closer than ever after what he did at Thorp Arch during the international break with Javi Gracia taking note.
