‘I have a feeling…’ – David Prutton predicts score in Leeds v Millwall clash

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has predicted a shock result when Millwall travel to Elland Road to play Leeds United on Tuesday night.

Prutton thinks that Millwall will heap more misery on Leeds and head back to London with all three points.

Writing on the Sky Sports website Prutton said, “It’s not just West Brom who are beginning to wobble at the top of the Championship.

“Leeds coasted through November and the start of December, with seven straight wins putting intense pressure on the Baggies, but had the wind taken out of their sails when they were held to a 3-3 draw by Cardiff and are on the verge of being usurped by the chasing pack.

“They welcome a Millwall side who will be full of confidence, not only due to their impressive start under Gary Rowett, but also safe in the knowledge they won the return fixture 2-1 at the start of October. I have a feeling there may be a similar outcome at Elland Road.”

Millwall have won three of their last five games and are definitely in a better run of form than Leeds.

The other problem for Leeds is that they will have to play without Kalvin Phillips tonight after he serves the first of a three-game suspension.

Ben White will play in midfield and although he looked a bit out of place last time he did that, Leeds still won 2-0 against Huddersfield.

Millwall might be a different proposition but we think Leeds will be buoyed by new attacking signings Ian Poveda and Jean-Kevin Augustin.

Poveda could well make his debut tonight and we can’t wait to see what the former Man City talent can bring to Leeds.

We’re going with the bookies who are predicting a win for Leeds. They’re as short as 1/2 to pick up all three points while a Millwall win is 7/1.
