‘How good?’, ‘Wow’ – Many Leeds fans thrilled by ‘unreal’ player in win v Huddersfield
Leeds got the job done in style at Elland Road today, beating Huddersfield 2-0, moving to the top of the table and increasing the gap back to third to seven points.
It was the fifth win and the fifth clean sheet in a row.
The only thing that was missing today was a goal from Jack Harrison, who hit the woodwork again.
He’s been in blistering form recently and, as one fan pointed out, is looking like an absolute steal at £8m. That’s how much Leeds will have to pay to make his transfer permanent from Man City.
One player who did get on the scoresheet is Patrick Bamford, who stabbed in from a couple of yards out.
That will do his confidence the world of good and if there’s any justice in the world, Harrison will get his goal next week.
He might not have delivered the attacking returns you want from your winger this season but he’s been unstoppable the past few months and he made the first goal today for Luke Ayling.
More importantly, it’s another three points for Leeds and with Forest losing and Fulham and West Brom drawing, it’s been a brilliant weekend.
One game at a time, we know, but in the meantime, here are the best reactions from fans to Harrison’s brilliant display today…
