In the past two or three seasons, Klich was a regular starter at the club. In fact, under Marcelo Bielsa, he was always the first name on the team sheet.

However, his performance dropped considerably last season, and Jesse Marsch even failed to guarantee his future.

The Whites boss respects him and he had some doubts about his consistency. Klich has probably silenced his critics and this performance will give joy to the manager.

He will be delighted to see one of his senior players absolutely bossing the midfield. And he will demand more of such performances in the coming matches.

This performance could also earn him a move away from Elland Road. His admirers could be watching this and they could make a move for him as well.

In fact, all the senior players have put in a terrific shift during the game. It was intense content but Leeds had more quality that their opponent.

In other Leeds United news, a Sky Sports journalist has dropped a £60million update on this Elland Road ace as a bid is reportedly made for him.
