Have Adidas just dropped a massive hint about imminent kit announcement for Leeds?

Adidas will be making the kit for Leeds United next season – that was confirmed by Athletic journalist Phil Hay, who said the deal had been done “a couple of months ago.”

Kappa have had a time extension to their deal, which was due to run out at the end of the season. That’s obviously running on until July now.

Leeds fans are desperate for any news on the marquee Adidas deal and plenty have been coming up with concept kit designs.

And the latest Adidas releases have got fans talking, with a big Leeds focus for products dropping on Thursday night.

First up is the Spezial Holbeck jacket.

Then there’s the Meanwood bucket hat, the Lotherton SPZL trainers and the Newsam Spezial polo shirt.

Finally, the Elland trainers are also set for a release on Thursday night.

It makes this week a Leeds special for Adidas and we think it could be followed by an official announcement.

We’re not the only ones, with some eagle-eyed fans spotting the imminent drop of Leeds-related products.

The Adidas deal is a huge one for Leeds. MOT Leeds News columnist Paul Robinson has said it’s an ideal opportunity for Adidas to come up with a really iconic kit and he said they could sell “millions” if they get it right.

And Leeds’ standing in the football world was reinforced by Phil Hay who said, “The Adidas partnership will be lucrative, a tier-one contract which reflects the fact that Leeds sell an extraordinary number of shirts.”

It’s exciting stuff and the perfect way for Leeds to announce themselves as back in the Premier League.

And yes, we know they’re not there yet. But they’re very close.
