Glenn Hoddle tips Leeds winger Jack Harrison for the very top after Spurs clash
Glenn Hoddle has tipped Leeds United winger Jack Harrison for the very top after a shining performance against Spurs on Saturday.
The Manchester City loanee was a constant thorn in the side of the away side and was involved massively in the opening two goals.
Hoddle admitted that Harrison’s ability to play one-touch football highlights his quality and shows he can play higher in the Premier League.
Speaking after the game live on BT Sports, Hoddle was blown away by Harrison’s influence against the likes of Serge Aurier.
“I think he’s only going to get better,”
“He’s got talent, and if you’ve got talent, you’ll see where it can go in the next two or three seasons, he’s going to be a top player.
“He can play one touch. That is a sign of an astute player, a good player.”
Sensational.
Harrison was phenomenal against Spurs and was at the heart of everything despite not getting any goals or assists.
The winger has endured a couple of quiet months at Elland Road, but he was at the heart of everything during this 90 minutes.
With the obligation in place to sign Harrison permanently after three years here, Hoddles prediction is very exciting for his future in West Yorkshire.
Spurs have been playing European football consistently, and we made them look like a team battling relegation, and Harrison was one of the main ones behind that.
Marcelo Bielsa has made a superstar, and there is more to come.
