'Garbage', 'Passenger', 'Anonymous' - Many Leeds fans blast 29y/o in 1-1 draw v Preston
Leeds United fans were not happy with Mateusz Klich’s latest performance when he failed to impress in the 1-1 draw against Preston at Elland Road on Boxing Day.
Klich, 29, has been ever-present for Leeds this season, starting every single Championship fixture.
However it would be fair to say that he was not at his best on Thursday as the Whites left it late to salvage a point against their fellow promotion chasers.
Klich did not play much of a role in Leeds earning their solo point against Preston.
According to stats by WhoScored, the Poland international failed to complete any tackles or interceptions in the middle of the park and he was the player who was dispossessed before Preston scored their opener through Alan Browne.
Klich did not stand out creatively either as he only made one key pass all game despite playing in a more advanced central role.

It seemed as though Marcelo Bielsa tried to put Klich into the role that Pablo Hernandez usually plays but let’s not kid around here – Klich is no Hernandez.
And based on the reaction to his performance on Twitter, there are plenty of Leeds fans who agree with that as well.
