Fulham trio ruled out of clash v Leeds - report
Fulham will be without Harry Arter, Maxime Le Marchand and Denis Odoi when Leeds United travel to Craven Cottage on Saturday, according to LeedsLive.
The news outlet claims that Arter and Le Marchand remain out due to injuries they sustained earlier this season while Odoi is suspended for a red card he received in the 2-1 defeat to Preston on December 10.
It is understood that both midfielder Arter and defender Le Marchand are set to miss the rest of the month with their respective injury issues, meaning that Fulham’s game against Leeds this weekend has come too soon for them.
Arter has not played for Fulham since mid-October due to a shin injury.
He joined the Cottagers on a season-long loan from Bournemouth in the summer transfer window but has only managed 10 appearances in the Championship since.
In his absence, Fulham have won five of 10 matches and have lost their last three to see them slip down to sixth in the table.
Arter is a player who has plenty of quality and it is a bit of a boost for Leeds that he will not be involved this weekend.
Odoi’s absence is also bound to be felt by Fulham as the Belgian full-back has made 14 appearances in the league this season.
Scott Parker has definitely had more ideal situations when it has come to selecting his starting line-up.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay has suggested that one player’s value has skyrocketed 400 per cent since his summer switch to Elland Road.
