Fabrizio Romano shares Andrea Radrizzani stance on Leeds United sensation Crysencio Summerville after win v Liverpool

Andrea Radrizzani is really excited by the “huge potential” Crysencio Summerville is showing at Leeds United, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Writing on his daily briefing for Caught Offside on Sunday (30 October), the Guardian journalist reported that the 21-year-old is impressing everyone behind the scenes at Thorp Arch.

He scored a late winner at Anfield on Saturday (29 October) for Leeds to secure a 2-1 win over Liverpool to move out of the Premier League’s relegation zone.

And Romano has since shared an update on the highly-rated Dutch dazzler.

“Crysencio Summerville was the hero for Leeds United this weekend – scoring a last-minute winner against Liverpool,” said Romano.

“Andrea Radrizzani and everyone else at the club believes he has huge potential and could become a top, top player.”

Radrizzani always stays up to date with the goings on at Leeds, which is what makes him such a good club owner.

Yes, he gets a lot of stick but you cannot argue with what he’s done at Elland Road in his time as the chairman.

He may ruffle some feathers on social media and the lack of investment in the summer was something that annoyed a lot of fans.

However, Radrizzani has got Leeds back to the big-time, got the big decisions right and has restored a lot of pride in the club and in the city.

Summerville is one of Victor Orta’s overseas projects.

Orta has signed a lot of young talents from abroad in his time at Elland Road.

Some would say too many.

More have failed and only Pascal Struijk has really been a success but it seems as though another Dutch talent in Summerville is also one to keep a close eye on after his goal against Liverpool.

Summerville has only played 18 times for Leeds’ senior side since joining over a year ago and most of those appearances have been as a substitute for a few minutes at a time.

But after starting at Anfield and getting his second goal in as many Premier League games, it’s fair to say that Jesse Marsch needs to be playing the rarely-seen talent a lot more.
