Everything you need to know as Leeds vs Man City could be paused in-game – When and why here
Leeds United take on Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Elland Road will host a huge fixture at both ends of the table, with title and relegation implications really starting to show themselves at this stage of the season.
The Whites are currently six points clear of the Premier League bottom three, but won’t expect much success against City, who are five points behind Arsenal with a game in hand.
Much has been made of Leeds’ success under the lights in LS11, but this will be the biggest test of that.
It may not be as fast and ferocious to start, though, with Graham Smyth confirming an in-game break could take place for players to break Ramadan fasts if needed.
When could the break take place in Leeds vs Man City?
The Yorkshire Evening Post have shared that nobody in the Leeds squad is observing Ramadan.
Pep Guardiola has revealed that certain players are within his squad, with nutritionists at City helping them through the process.
Should those be named in the away side’s starting XI, a natural pause will take place during sunset, so they can break their fast.

Sunset is currently expected in Leeds at 17:41, meaning it could happen early in the first half, where Daniel Farke can spend time with his side.
Can Leeds pull off the ultimate scalp under the lights?
Walking down to Elland Road late on Saturday, nerves will be very high as the very best come to town.
Leeds fans are as expectant as they come, so despite the challenge ahead, the majority will still be hoping and praying for a positive result.
After beating Nottingham Forest 3-1 last time out on a Friday evening, the Whites took their unbeaten record in games at Elland Road past 5 pm to 24.

Leeds have won 20 and drawn four of league or play-off games in that time, which is crazy.
Those games include results against the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool, so it is more than possible that the Whites could get a positive outcome versus City.
With Erling Haaland, Antoine Semenyo and Nico O’Reilly at the top of their games right now, more will be needed to get a result here, though.
If Leeds manage that, survival is only weeks away.
