Ethan Ampadu one of four doubts for Leeds vs West Ham as teammate definitely out
Leeds captain Ethan Ampadu could miss their vital clash with West Ham on Friday.
Leeds are creeping towards the relegation zone, after their positive start to the season, started to come undone.
The clash at Elland Road on 24 October is almost a six-pointer, despite it being so early in the campaign, and victory could be massive for Daniel Farke‘s side.
However, they have several injury problems ahead of the contest on home turf, which could hamper those ambitions.

Leeds have several fitness issues for West Ham clash
Harry Gray is ruled out for Leeds, which means he will not make his Premier League debut immediately after signing his new deal.
Farke confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Wilfried Gnonto and Noah Okafor have made some progress, but were unable to complete training, with the latter the more likely to feature.
- Okafor has been one of Leeds’ most dangerous players this season
- The Swiss forward has two goals in five Premier League matches so far
- He has missed the 2-0 loss to Burnley last time out
Ampadu faces a race against time for the contest, as he is suffering from illness, with Pascal Struijk also a doubt, due to the same issue.

What injuries do West Ham have for Leeds contest?
Nuno confirmed in his media duties that West Ham will definitely be without centre-back Konstantinos Mavropanos, who is a big loss at the back.
Niclas Fullkrug is also expected to miss the LS11 showdown, with the Hammers still unsure as to the extent of his thigh issue, that kept him out of the 2-0 defeat to Brentford on 20 October.
George Earthy is the final injury problem for the Irons, with the young midfielder nursing a hamstring injury that will keep him out until approximately 22 November.
The Whites need to take advantage of the lack of Mavropanos and Fullkrug and ensure that they come away with all three points, against the struggling East London side.
If they fail to do so, they could be locked in the relegation battle with the London Stadium outfit, when the end of the campaign comes around.
