Double fitness boost for Leeds as Berardi & Poveda back for Under-23s
Leeds United got a big double fitness boost today ahead of the Premier League clash against West Ham on Monday.
Gaetano Berardi made his comeback from a long-term ACL injury he picked up at the tail-end of last season.
Berardi starts in the Under-23s game against Crystal Palace today.
Ian Poveda is also on the comeback trail, with the winger named as one of the subs.
Poveda has missed the last six games with injury.

We were thinking that we might see Robin Koch among the subs today but instead, we got great news about two other players,
We’ll be watching the game this afternoon and we hope that Bera can get through 45 minutes without any issues.
We’re expecting him to play again in the Under-23s v Wolves on Friday but the West Ham game next Monday might still come too soon for him.
We’re expecting Ian Poveda to come on for the second half today and having him back is a big boost.
Leeds have looked flat in a few games since he was injured and he’s the spark that Bielsa often turns to when he needs an impact from the bench.
We think Poveda will have a chance of making the bench for the game against West Ham if all goes well today.
You can watch the game on Palace TV but unfortunately, it costs £3. You can sign-up for the game, that kicks off at 1pm, here.
