Dominic Calvert-Lewin likened to greatest sportsman in history after Leeds draw at Brentford
Dominic Calvert-Lewin continued his fine form at Leeds United as he netted the equaliser in the 1-1 draw against Brentford on Sunday.
It was another fantastic performance from the striker as he scored for his fourth consecutive match.
It has been a remarkable turnaround for the former Everton star, with his previous bluntness in front of goal now being a distant memory.
As a result, praise has been heaped on Calvert-Lewin for his performance against Brentford, with the former England international now being compared to Michael Jordan.

Jamie Redknapp compares Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Michael Jordan
Before the game, hype surrounding the Leeds striker had hit a new high after he netted in the 3-3 draw against Liverpool last weekend.
Calls for Calvert-Lewin to return to the England set-up had grown louder, with the striker in fine form.
On Sunday, he showed the world what the hype was all about, as he connected with a Wilfried Gnonto to head into the net with eight minutes left to play.
It was an excellent finish, with the striker performing a magnificent jump to net the equaliser.

After the game, when speaking to the media, Mark Chapman told Calvert-Lewin that Jamie Redknapp had compared him to former basketball legend Jordan due to his leap for the header.
Mark Chapman said on Sky Sports on 14 December: “The man next to you has just compared you to Michael Jordan.”
Calvert-Lewin eventually responded to the remark and stated: “I didn’t realise I jumped that high! Willy put a great ball in and, when you’re in the moment, you watch the ball come in, and it’s your bread and butter really.”
How good was Calvert-Lewin against Brentford?
According to Fotmob on 14 December, statistically, Calvert-Lewin was excellent.
Despite having the least amount of touches of any outfield player to play 90 minutes at 22, he more than made his mark.
On top of the goal, he managed to have three shots, seven touches in Brentford’s box, and was not dispossessed once.
| Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s stats vs Brentford | |
| Minutes | 90 |
| Goals | 1 |
| Shots | 3 |
| Touches | 22 |
| xG | 0.54 |
| Touches in opposition box | 7 |
| Times dispossessed | 0 |
Therefore, if the 28-year-old can keep up this form for the foreseeable future, there is no reason why he cannot guide the Peacocks to Premier League survival.
