BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson has predicted a shock Leeds United win when they travel to the King Power Stadium on Sunday.
Leicester are flying high in third place in the Premier League and could go top if they win and other results go their way.
However, Lawrenson thinks that Leeds will get revenge from the loss they suffered at Elland Road earlier in the season.
Writing in his BBC column Lawrenson said, “Leicester completely dismantled Leeds when they met at Elland Road in November but the difference this time is that Foxes striker Jamie Vardy is out injured.
“Vardy was instrumental in the Foxes’ first two goals that day, and scored their third one himself. Without him, it should be a lot closer.
“Leeds got a badly needed win over Newcastle in midweek to get back on track after three straight defeats, and they are a dangerous side when their tails are up.”
Lawrenson thinks the game will end with a 2-1 win for Leeds.
Biggest win of PL
This is a surprise prediction and it would be the best win of the season for Leeds if we came away with the three points.
The bookies disagree and have Leicester as odds-on to win, with a Leeds win priced at a big 3/1.
Most Leeds fans we’ve talked to are expecting to lose and have made their peace with that.
Leicester have looked really strong this season and there’s even talk of them going for another shock Premier League title.
Vardy might be missing but they’re far from a one-man team.
However, Vardy is the player who can hurt Leeds badly given the way we play. His loss is a big boost for Leeds and we’ll take Lawro’s prediction and run with it.
Raphinha and Rodrigo will need to be at their best and we’ll also need Patrick Bamford to find his scoring boots after a very disappointing game against Newcastle.
Normally so dependable, Bamford was to blame for the Newcastle goal and was hauled off by Bielsa shortly after.
Losing Diego Llorente again hurts and we think Pascal Struijk will come in to replace him.
