Daniel Farke under pressure at Leeds United, BBC pundit reacts instantly
Steve Hermon and Tony Brown have reacted to the pressure on Daniel Farke at Leeds United.
The Whites travelled to the Baggies in need of a positive result after a draw to Portsmouth on the opening day was followed up by a 3-0 hammering off Middlesbrough but could only manage a goalless draw.
It is fair to say that the home side had the better of the opening exchanges as pressure began to build on the Leeds manager.
Reacting live on BBC Radio WM on 17 August (12:41pm), Hermon said: “It’s gone out for another throw in and it’s close to the technical area being occupied by Daniel Farke.
“If reports are to be believed then he’s under pressure. I mean any Leeds United manager is under pressure.”
Brown replied instantly saying: “Yes, all the time, because of the expectations. It’s a big club.”
Daniel Farke under Leeds United pressure
The German had a season to remember for the most part last time around, reaching the playoff final after a terrific campaign.
It was tough for everyone associated with the club that they came up short against Southampton at Wembley, condemning the Whites to another season in the Championship.
The frustration for Farke will be that if promotion had been secured, there would be no question of his future.
After losing three of his best players Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville and now Georginio Rutter over the summer, a tough start was always likely.
Drawing to Portsmouth was frustrating but with a penalty and a top-class strike from difference, on another day a win is safe at Elland Road.

The performance against Middlesbrough was very poor and there was very little positive to take from that.
With just three games gone this season, Farke’s future should be safe for now at Leeds.
In other Leeds United news, Patrick Bamford could now be sold before deadline after what he did at Elland Road.
