Daniel Farke makes Leeds fans nightmares come true vs Sunderland
Daniel Farke has made no changes for Leeds’ trip to Sunderland on Sunday afternoon.
Leeds should have the advantage over the Mackems due to their recent goalscoring exploits, but it is expected to be a close contest.
Lukas Nmecha could have returned for Leeds, after missing the last three matches with a hamstring injury, but it will come too soon for Dan James or Sean Longstaff.
The clash at the Stadium of Light on 28 December is a chance for the Whites to extend the gap to the relegation zone and put a marker down on their rivals.

Who lines up for Leeds against Sunderland?
Lucas Perri is between the sticks for Leeds, with Jayden Bogle, Joe Rodon, Jaka Bijol, Pascal Struijk and Gabriel Gudmundsson keeping their places in the backline.
Ethan Ampadu and Anton Stach are joined by Brenden Aaronson, with Ao Tanaka not recalled to the starting line-up.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin will lead the line with Noah Okafor alongside him, with Nmecha on the bench as they look to topple Regis Le Bris’ side.
Why Leeds fans will love/hate what Farke has done
Aaronson is a polarising figure at Elland Road, with the American often criticised for his inconsistent performance levels.
While there is no doubt that he is a better Premier League player than he was a few years ago, he still does not enjoy the love amongst the fanbase in Yorkshire.
- Aaronson has notched one goal and two assists in 16 appearances in the league this season
- He has started 10 times for Farke’s side
- Tanaka has two goals and no assists in 14 matches, with seven starts under his belt.
Tanaka, on the other hand, is a fan favourite, and he is one of the Whites’ best players, adapting to the top-flight just as well as he did to the Championship last season.
Therefore, the lack of a change that Farke has made will make Peacocks supporters’ nightmares come true as the 27-year-old is still on the bench.
Farke will hope that Aaronson can prove the fanbase wrong and come up with the goods in the North East, after his selection decision concerning the American.
