Daniel Farke goes mad at Joe Rothwell after what happened in Leeds win v Norwich
Daniel Farke was spotted going mad at Joe Rothwell during the Leeds United win against Norwich City on Wednesday.
The Whites secured a 2-0 win at Elland Road on 22 January with goals from Manor Solomon and Dan James being the difference on the night.
It wasn’t always plain sailing for the home side as Farke voiced his frustrations as the game went on, picking out Rothwell with 30 minutes gone in L4.
Graham Smyth revealed to X that the German head coach was seen “going mad at Rothwell for the wrong choice of pass, poorly executed one at that”.

The 30-year-old midfielder clearly angered his manager in the first half but only made that worse as the game went on.
With less than 20 minutes to go, the Bournemouth loanee went looking for a penalty, dived and picked up a yellow card from referee Matt Donohue.
It is fair to say that this won’t impress Farke who hooked the Englishman later on in the clash, replacing him with Josuha Guilovogui.
It is frustrating that Rothwell felt that he needed to resort to diving, especially given that the Whites were already 2-0 up by that point.
Although it wasn’t a stellar performance from the home side in L4, three points is three points and that sends them back to the top of the Championship.
Like the Sheffield Wednesday win, there is areas where Leeds can improve but to win comfortably and not be at your best is only a plus.
