Dallas and Aaronson off-camera moment spotted after Leeds United win v Sheff Wed

Stuart Dallas and Brenden Aaronson shared a lovely moment by the dugout after Leeds United beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 on Sunday.

The former Leeds defender was in attendance at Elland Road as Daniel Farke’s side netted three unanswered strikes past James Beadle on 19 January.

While Aaronson was not directly involved in any of Manor Solomon, Largie Ramazani or Ao Tanaka’s goals, the American played a starring role before being replaced in the 90th minute due to injury.

Writing via X [19 January], Beren Cross said: “Dallas, on punditry with ITV pitchside, ruffles Aaronson’s hair as he goes past the dugout.

“Then, Gnonto comes over to the pitchside table and has a few words with an embrace for his former teammate.”

Leeds United players embrace after important Sheffield Wednesday victory

Up until Ramazani’s 88th-minute goal, the Owls were still very much in the game, battling in an attempt to grab an equaliser and hand Leeds a crushing blow at home.

However, Farke’s side had the final laugh at Elland Road and while Aaronson was not directly involved in the goals, he has continued to impress since returning from his loan spell in the Bundesliga.

Some supporters are still not sold on the 24-year-old returning to Yorkshire after jumping ship following Leeds’ relegation from the Premier League, but he has notched seven goals and two assists in the league.

Only Joel Piroe has more Championship goals in the Leeds squad this season, which could see him become an important figure in the Whites’ aim for promotion.

There a limited options when it comes to the attacking midfielder position, especially with Piroe being trusted with the striker spot, and Farke clearly trusts the American again.

Whether supporters like it or not, he looks here to stay after returning to Elland Road.
