Crysencio Summerville returns, Luis Sinisterra benched as seven changes made – Leeds United starting XI v Salford City
Daniel Farke has made seven changes to his Leeds United starting line-up to face Salford City in the League Cup on Tuesday (29 August).
Crysencio Summerville starts in attack, as confirmed by the club’s official Twitter account, having not featured since Leeds’ Championship opener against Cardiff City in which he scored a late equaliser in a 2-2 draw, due to injury.
Joe Gelhardt also starts as does Wilfried Gnonto and Georginio Rutter, but Luis Sinisterra is one of the players to drop out of the XI, and is named only among the substitutes.

Pascal Struijk is the only survivor in defence from the team that started the 4-3 win at Ipswich Town last time out. Leo Hjelde, Charlie Cresswell and Jamie Shackleton all start, but Cody Drameh is only among the substitutes, while Karl Darlow plays in goal.
A chance to breathe
It has been an extremely hectic day at Elland Road, with transfer rumours aplenty for fans to digest.
Chief among them of course is the rumour Tottenham full-back Djed Spence has been having his medical at Elland Road ahead of a season-long loan.
Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Nadiem Amiri has reportedly opted not to move to Leeds, though, having jetted in to check out the city and the training facilities.

But, for now, there is a chance to breathe and take in some football – albeit not the hustle and bustle of the Championship – as Leeds visit the Peninsula Stadium and League Two Salford City.
Having earned a first league win of the campaign in a 4-3 thriller on Saturday (26 August), Daniel Farke will hope to see his side continue to build a bit more momentum having made the trip over the Pennines.
It might also give him one last chance to see which areas of his squad need a little more depth.
In other Leeds United news, Sporting CP want to sign Luis Sinisterra before the transfer window closes.
