Some Leeds United fans are finding it increasingly hard to cut Patrick Bamford any slack.

The striker is out of form, there are no two ways about it, and he had a pretty miserable first half at Elland Road against Reading.

He had a good chance early on but couldn't connect with the ball, and he was mishitting passes left, right and centre.

He's only scored in one game in his last nine starts and Leeds fans are desperate for goals to make games like this easier to watch.

Leeds dominated the first half but Reading had probably the best chance of the half, against the run of play.

And disaster struck when Kalvin Phillips had to go off injured on 35 minutes after failing to run off an injury. He ran straight down the tunnel and if he's out for any length of time it would be a catastrophe.

Back to today, though, and Bamford just couldn't get anything together.

We'd like to see Jean-Kevin Augustin introduced to the game earlier than his customary final 15 minutes. Otherwise, it's set to be a very nervy second half.

Here are the frustrated reactions to Bamford's first half at Elland Road...
