Cooper fit for Swansea clash
Liam Cooper is fit to play in the Championship clash against Swansea on Saturday afternoon.
The good news was confirmed by Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa who said there were no injury concerns, bar long-terms Luke Ayling and Tyler Roberts, ahead of the top-of-the-table clash.
Bielsa was talking in his pre-match press conference that was broadcast live on the official LUFC app on Thursday.
Cooper missed the Stoke win last weekend although Bielsa said that he was fit, just not 100% then. He was also rested for the second game against Stoke in the EFL Cup on Tuesday.
Cooper should go straight back into the team despite the 3-0 win without him last weekend. Cooper and White have built up a solid partnership at the heart of the Leeds defence, which is the meanest in the Championship.
Cooper and White will need to be on top form against the best attack in the Championship. Swansea have scored 11 goals in the league so far this season (one more than Leeds) and put six past Cambridge in the EFL Cup this week.
