Cooper and Dallas a doubt for Stoke

Marcelo Bielsa has said that both Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas are doubts for the Championship game against Stoke on Saturday afternoon.

Cooper has picked up an ankle knock while Dallas has a muscle problem. The good news is that Bielsa, talking in his pre-match press conference (live in the official LUFC app), said that neither injury was serious and that both players could still make his starting XI.

Jamie Shackleton and Gaetano Berardi were named as their replacements if they failed late fitness tests.

One player who is definitely out is Barry Douglas although he could play in the following game against Stoke in the EFL Cup next week.

If both players are fit it will be yet another unchanged line-up for Leeds, with Helder Costa and Eddie Nketiah starting from the bench despite their winning contribution against Brentford.

Bielsa loves an unchanged line-up and while Leeds are winning, no matter who’s creating and scoring the goals, the two summer signings are going to have to remain patient.

Both must be close to a starting place in the side, though, and another similar outcome on Saturday could convince Bielsa to make the changes.
