‘Consistently bad’ – Sky Sports pundit blasts one Leeds player despite 1-0 win v Burnley

Andy Hinchcliffe dubbed Mateusz Klich’s shooting as “consistently bad” as Leeds United XXX Burnley at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon.

Klich, 30, had two shots at goal in the first half and both of them ended up in Row Z they were that bad.

The Poland international’s shooting led to Sky Sports commentator Hinchcliffe making a comment.

Speaking on co-commentary on Sky Sports Main Event, he said: “He’s two from two. He’s consistent – consistently bad.”

Klich off the boil

Klich had a shocker against Burnley and was eventually substituted off by Marcelo Bielsa in the 66th minute to be replaced by Jamie Shackleton.

WhoScored shows that the Poland international completed 81 per cent of his passes in the game and while that isn’t an awful stat, those who watched the game could see that the 19 per cent of passes he misplaced were largely in places you don’t want to concede possession.

Klich also had just two shots in the game – the same ones that were pointed out by Hinchcliffe – and didn’t chip in defensively with any tackles or interceptions.

Klich had a day to forget but the Poland international didn’t wait until the Burnley game to have a bit of a stinker because he’s been off the boil for a few weeks now.

We need to see a massive improvement from the former Twente player soon but Bielsa doesn’t like dropping him out of the side. After all, he failed to start just one Championship game after the Argentine took charge.
