Leeds United have confirmed their starting XI for their Premier League showdown against Brighton on Saturday afternoon (27 August) at the AMEX.

Jesse Marsch has decided to go back to the side that smashed Chelsea last week, making nine changes from the EFL Cup win over Barnsley during midweek.

Confirmed on Twitter prior to kick-off, the Whites have brought back the likes of Rodrigo and Jack Harrison into their side as they look to continue their brilliant start, with Liam Cooper missing out completely.

Tactical Warfare.

This is going to be a real battle of the minds at the AMEX.

Marsch has proved that he can win against the very best, with that demolishing of Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel last week a warning to the rest of the Premier League.

Having said that, Graham Potter is a man who has done the same frequently over the years with his Brighton side, who have also made a good start to the season.

Leeds will need to be switched on to beat the Seagulls and break the record of not scoring in their previous six visits to the same stadium.

Avoiding defeat and keeping our current points total of seven would be the perfect weekend, with drawing your away games and winning those at home a great formula.

Of course, picking up three points here and there on the road is a needed boost, and the Whites will be packed with confidence going into this one.

All eyes are on the AMEX already, with Harrison, Aaronson and Rodrigo the key to any success here – fingers crossed.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites now want to sign this striker with a rival set to kickstart a major £30million+ transfer battle
