Confirmed Leeds United starting XI v Aston Villa

Leeds United have made one change to their starting XI for the Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Saturday evening.

Marcelo Bielsa has brought in Helder Costa after his impressive cameo off the bench in the 3-0 win over Southampton on Tuesday.

Confirmed on Twitter prior to kick-off, the Whites have dropped Jack Harrison to the bench with Patrick Bamford and Raphinha completing the front three.

Leeds are once again without the likes of Kalvin Phillips and Rodrigo for this clash, but they dealt with that superbly against Southampton.

Diego Llorente came in after his injury for only his second Premier League start, with that set to become three this evening against the Villans.

Dean Smith confirmed his own problems with his Villa side, with Jack Grealish out injured and missing from what has become a rival clash for both teams in recent years.

All parties will be hoping for less drama this evening, with the Whites looking to replicate that famous 3-0 victory in the reverse fixture.

Leeds have a great opportunity here to establish their spot in the top half of the Premier League with a positive result at Elland Road.

Three points would see the Whites temporarily climb into eight spot ahead of tonight’s opponents and Spurs, who both would games-in-hand over us.

It would be a real statement ahead of the final 12 games; bring it on.
