Confirmed Leeds United starting line-up v Liverpool: Luke Ayling dropped
Leeds United have named a strong starting line-up as they look to get a positive result against Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday (29 October) in the Premier League.
The Whites are going through a poor run of form at the moment, as they have failed to pick up a win since August, and they face a strong challenge against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Via Twitter, the Whites have named their starting line-up for this game. Jesse Marsch has made three changes to the side.
The likes of Luke Ayling, Sam Greenwood and Luis Sinisterra (not in the squad) have been dropped, and Ramus Kristensen, Cry Summerville and Tyler Adams have replaced them.
Jesse Marsch is under intense pressure at the moment. The Whites are in a spiral downfall at the moment, as they are heading into this tie on the back of a 3-2 defeat against Fulham.
It seems like they need a miracle to pull off a victory, and the system is probably not working. However, let’s hope they can get a positive result against the Reds.
Liverpool have been surprisingly off their pace this season. We are accustomed to watching them fighting for titles, but it seems they have a fight on their hands to get into the top four this season.
Having said that, Jurgen Klopp’s side are hard to beat at Anfield. It will require a herculean effort to get three points against a top side.
Leeds must sort out their defence and stay positive. If they can frustrate Liverpool by staying resolute at the back, there is a high chance they can get something from this game.
In other Leeds United news, Jeff Stelling claims this world-class manager would want to be the next Whites manager if Marsch is sacked.
