Confirmed Leeds Under-23s starting XI v Crystal Palace

Leeds United under-23s get their Premier League 2 Division 1 campaign underway against Crystal Palace this evening.

The Whites travel to Selhurst Park, and Mark Jackson has named a strong side for the trip to the capital.

Confirmed on their official Twitter account prior to kick-off, Leeds have named first-team players Kristoffer Klaesson and Adam Forshaw in the side.

There are numerous new signings on show for all fans.

Thankfully, Leeds have made the game available to watch live on Monday evening, and it will be shown on LUTV.

Usually, it is also shared on YouTube and the club’s social channels so fans will have no excuse to miss it.

With new signings such as Lewis Bate, Amari Miller and Sean McGurk potentially all on show through the night – it should make for good viewing.

Good start.

Jackson will want his side to get off to a flying start this evening.

It is time to prove that our academy once again belongs among the best in the country, and winning games in this league is the only way how.

We cruised to the title last season, no one will deny that, but with the Premier League top-six coming into things, we have to improve.

Crystal Palace have been a familiar opponent in recent years, so if we perform as well as we know we can, three points should be there for the taking.
