Confirmed Leeds U23s starting XI v Spurs

Leeds United under-23s have confirmed their starting XI for the clash with Tottenham this afternoon.

Mark Jackson’s side are looking to continue their form after winning the season opener 3-1 against Crystal Palace last week.

Shared on Google prior to kick-off, the young Whites have included the likes of Sean McGurk for his first start for the club.

This is our first real taste of the big sides.

Leeds faced the likes of Crystal Palace last season, and Spurs are among the best academies in the country.

The young Whites have already beaten the likes of Manchester City in warm-up games this year, proving they are ready.

Senior players were a familiar sight in the under-23s last season, but Marcelo Bielsa now has a full squad pushing to get into his plans.

Numerous signings have been made, and they are all looking to become regular fixtures in the Premier League squad.

Unfortunately, there will be no fans at Thorp Arch for this one.

COVID-19 rules mean that the training ground is shut off to the public and is the club’s so-called bubble throughout the season.

The game will be shown live on LUTV for those fans who want to watch and keep track of the score as the game is ongoing.

Crystal Palace were allowed fans last week as the game was held at Selhurst Park, but there will be some games at Elland Road this season.
