Digital Wilson has got a unique way of getting Leeds United fans fired up for Premier League games and he’s certainly done the business ahead of the Leicester clash.

Fans might not be able to go to the game at Elland Road tonight but as the Twitter post exclaimed this morning, “We March on Together.”

And the footage, a compilation of Leeds goals – some old, some new – complete with the uplifting Strings for Yasmin soundtrack, left a lot of fans feeling emotional.

Some Leeds fans actually admitted to being left teary after watching the video with one saying, “Christ, not sure I can handle this on a Monday morning.”

Another said, “Hearing and seeing that has made me go all goose pimpley. Bring back the good old days of Gjanni rattling the tunnel, us lot going mad singing mot and the screams of joy as we score at Church.”

Missing out on watching this season play out in the Premier League is proving just as tough as missing out on seeing Leeds get promoted last season.

The game against Man City was one of the most exciting we’ve watched in a long time. Imagine what it would have been like with a packed Elland Road.

Unfortunately, we’re unlikely to be heading back to Elland Road in the near future, thanks to spiralling Covid-19 numbers and a second national lockdown.

The only hope now is that Spring keeps the numbers down and that we can get back into the ground before the end of the season.

In the meantime, we’ll be watching this video on loop ahead of the Leicester game.
