Chris Sutton surprised by what he has seen at Leeds United as Bournemouth verdict delivered
Leeds United host Bournemouth at Elland Road this weekend.
Off the back of Leeds United’s 3-1 victory away to Wolves, Daniel Farke’s side return to home soil this weekend to face Bournemouth, who have had an excellent start to the campaign.
The Cherries have lost just one of their opening five fixtures this season, and will be looking to keep it that way when they travel to Elland Road this Saturday.
However, Leeds will be looking to make it back-to-back wins for the first time since returning to the Premier League, with Chris Sutton having his say on the clash.

Bournemouth expected to beat Leeds despite positive start
With seven points from the first five games, Leeds have had a solid start to life back in the Premier League.
Not only that, but the Whites have faced several European outfits already, with their defeat to Arsenal and goalless draw against Newcastle.
While Bournemouth are predicted to beat Leeds, the Elland Road faithful will have a big say in Saturday’s game, though not enough for Sutton to refrain from predicting another defeat.

Via his BBC Sport predictions, he said: “I was very impressed by Leeds’ win over Wolves last time out – it really surprised me.
“It was a brilliant result that showed what they have got to offer under Daniel Farke, and that they are going to give it a real go this season.
“Even so, I am backing Bournemouth here. The Cherries were a bit flat against Newcastle last week, but they usually create loads of chances, and that’s what I am expecting them to do at Elland Road.”
Sutton went on to predict a 2-1 victory for the Cherries.

Leeds vs Bournemouth head-to-head
Dating back to 1949, Leeds have faced Bournemouth on just 15 occasions, and their record against the Cherries is rather impressive..
The Whites have won 11 of those encounters, with just two resulting in a defeat.
With that said, the last encounter between these two sides saw Leeds beaten 4-1 by Bournemouth back in 2023, with Getafe-bound Patrick Bamford on the score sheet for the Whites that day.
All but five of the past 15 encounters have ended with at least three goals in them, showcasing that Saturday’s clash at Elland Road could be quite the spectacle.
