‘Changed physically’ – Exclusive: Pundit claims Leeds player has ‘transformed’ himself for PL

We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…

Paul Robinson has said that Jack Harrison has transformed physically and that he’s now “bigger and stronger” than he used to be.

Harrison has been one of the best players for Leeds this season and Robinson thinks he’s stepped up his game again from last season.

Unfortunately for Leeds, Harrison can’t play against Man City on Saturday as he’s on loan from the Premier League giants.

Pablo Hernandez will be missing too through injury.

Robinson believes that new summer signing Rodrigo will be drafted into the starting XI for Saturday’s game.

Talking exclusively to MOT Leeds News Robinson said, “Hernandez will be a miss. They always know they won’t have him for the full season. But he’ll be a big miss for them.

“With the size of the squad they’ve got they can cope with it now. They nursed him through the end of last season, but Leeds can cope with it now, the quality they’ve got. It’s a big strong squad.

“I think Rodrigo will play, or maybe Poveda could come in. But I think Rodrigo will play.

“Jack Harrison is another big miss for the game. Harrison has been absolutely outstanding so far this season.

“He’s come on again in the Premier League and he had a good season in the Championship.

“He’s changed physically. He looks bigger and stronger – he’s transformed himself and it’s working.”

Harrison came in for some criticism early on in his Leeds career and even last campaign he was inconsistent.

However, he has already shown real signs of the player everyone is hoping he can be this season and he’s been one of the stars for Leeds in the Premier League.

Leeds will have to do without his creative ability down the left on Saturday. No one will be more frustrated than Harrison.
