Brenden Aaronson awful as stats emerge from Blackburn v Leeds United

Brenden Aaronson needs to be taken off at half-time after a disgraceful first half for Leeds United against Blackburn Rovers.

Daniel Farke handed the United States international a start in the number 10 role but he has struggled on and off the ball.

If the Whites are to turn things around in the second half at Ewood Park on 30 November, the 24-year-old needs to be axed at the break.

Brenden Aaronson’s stats do not make for good reading v Leeds United

According to Sofascore, Aaronson has a zero per cent success rate with his attempted dribbles which is not ideal for someone in the final third.

He even lost the majority of his ground duels and he did not appear to press with the same intensity as he normally does.

Even though he’s found the balling in decent attacking positions, he is failing to make the killer pass and has often gone for the safer route.

Oftentimes, he was seen moaning to the referee rather than focusing on retaining the ball better and making things happen.

With Largie Ramazani on the bench, it’s an absolute no brainer to bring on the Belgian for the second half.

Not only will be offer more in possession, he can also be a goal threat and will improve the players around him too.
