Bielsa shares 'too much information' with Leeds United players wanting to leave - pundit
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United...
Paul Robinson has accused Marcelo Bielsa of sharing “too much information” about players wanting to leave Leeds United in January.
Speaking to the media on Monday [7 February], Bielsa revealed that 10 players asked to leave Elland Road, presumably on loan, in the January transfer window [Metro].
Cresencio Summerville was one of them with the Dutch winger strongly linked with a loan move to Hamburg SV in Germany [Hamburger Abendblatt].
Robinson can see why those players were not allowed to leave due to it being too many but he clearly doesn’t feel Bielsa should be sharing that kind of update to the media.
Speaking to MOT Leeds News, Robinson said: “Bielsa tends to give you nothing in his press conferences and then he gives you far too much information like that.

“There’s no way they could afford to let that many players go out on loan regardless of who wanted to go.
“I suspect it was younger players in the squad.”
Leeds did agree some loan deals in January.
Cody Drameh joined Cardiff City, Ryan Edmonson joined Port Vale, Josh Galloway went to FC United of Manchester and Bobby Kamwa signed on loan for Dunfermline.
Leeds have plenty of players out on loan, including Kiko Casilla (Elche), Helder Costa (Valencia), Laurens De Bock (Zulte Wagerem), Elia Caprile (Pro Patria) and Leif Davis (Bournemouth).
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay has dropped an injury tweet about Stuart Dallas after a “massive blow” against Everton.
