It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

17-year-old Leeds United centre-back Charlie Cresswell posted a video of himself in a recent training session at Thorp Arch and fans have reacted with excitement on Twitter.

In the clip – that looks like it's from a murderball session – Cresswell intercepts the ball in his own 18-yard-box but doesn't just clear the ball.

Instead, he turns one man, brushes off another and then sprints up the pitch, taking the ball round a diving challenge before playing a brilliant forward pass.

Cresswell posted the video on his personal Twitter account on Sunday night and it got lots of attention.

According to sister stats site, All Stats Aren't We, the training was "almost certainly a murderball session" and there were three coaches on the field. One looks like Marcelo Bielsa.

The murderball claim was backed up by another shot from the session, where stacks of balls were waiting to ensure there was no break in the action.

For such a young player, Cresswell – who hasn't been near the Leeds first-team yet – looked strong, fit and confident.

We watched him play for the Under-23s a number of times last season and were impressed with what we saw. He was the standout player in the 2-0 win against Barnsley last November.

And some Leeds fans are convinced that he's going to be a massive player for Leeds in the future, with one saying he's a "future captain".

It's fascinating to see a murderball session in action, great to see the Leeds players looking fit and Cresswell looks a real talent in the making.
