Crystal Palace are facing a potential injury crisis ahead of their trip to Leeds United on Monday night, according to BBC Radio Leeds journalist Adam Pope.
Writing via his personal Twitter account on Thursday, Pope reported that Wilfried Zaha is a “big injury worry” for Palace while question marks also surround the availability of James McArthur, James McCarthy, Joel Ward, Jeffrey Schlupp and James Tomkins.
When Crystal Palace won 2-1 at Newcastle on Tuesday, Roy Hodgson only named seven players on the bench even though he’s allowed up to nine.
Looks like Zaha is the latest big injury worry for Palace ahead of trip to #lufc (Mon, 8pm). McArthur, McCarthy, Ward, Schlupp & Tomkins are the others. Hodgson only named 7 on bench for the win at Newcastle.

Huge boost for Leeds
Leeds and Palace are level on points after varying midweek results in the Premier League so this is quite a big match for Marcelo Bielsa and his players.
They’ll be eager to bounce back after the disappointing home defeat to Everton and really show that they can win matches at Elland Road in the Premier League.
Palace have the third-worst defensive record in the top-flight this season, behind West Brom and Leeds, but their attacking threat has improved.
According to stats by FBRef, the Eagles have an xG of 19.4 in the Premier League, which is the third-worst. However, they have actually scored 27 goals so they are overachieving in front of goal.
However, when you take away Zaha, Palace lose a lot of their threat.
The 28-year-old Ivory Coast international has scored nine goals and supplied two assists in 19 Premier League appearances this season.
He’s easily the South London club’s top goalscorer with Eberechi Eze second in the rankings with just three goals.
If they’re without Zaha on Monday, Leeds will surely find it easier to defend and potentially beat Hodgson’s side.
In other Leeds United news, this BT Sport pundit is baffled by a controversial moment in the defeat to Everton.
