Archie Gray and Daniel James ruled out for Leeds United v Plymouth Argyle
Daniel Farke has confirmed Archie Gray, Daniel James and Pascal Struijk will all be unavailable for Leeds United in their FA Cup clash with Plymouth Argyle.
Gray suffered a knee injury at the end of the win v Norwich and hasn’t trained since, although the boss confirms he is hopeful of returning to training next week.
James on the other hand has an adductor strain and will be out for “a couple of weeks”, with Farke also ruling him out of contention for the Championship game with Bristol City.
Struijk is also out of contention with the same adductor issue that has been plaguing him in recent weeks while the manager admitted he will make changes to the team due to the short-turnaround from the midweek win at Elland Road.
Cup run
This is a fantastic chance for a cup run for for Leeds United after a relatively favourable draw, and with such a tough run in the Championship this is a good chance for the team to build great momentum.
Farke will have some decisions to make with his starting lineup with Archie Gray and Ethan Ampadu both suffering knocks in midweek while Dan James is out and Crysencio Summerville needs a rest too.
But the squad is still strong with the likes of Jaidon Anthony and Wilfried Gnonto available, Jamie Shackleton having filled in at right-back previously this season and Patrick Bamford in fantastic form with four goals in five games.

It’s a good opportunity for players to get more minutes in the bank and get a victory to progress through to the fifth round of the FA Cup, giving the fans something to cheer.
It won’t be easy and Plymouth will have a similar mentality, but this is a game Leeds should be winning comfortably and the fans at Elland Road will be expecting.
