Anton Stach picked out after what happened in Sunderland vs Leeds – ‘What a performance’
Anton Stach was the star of the show as Leeds were held to a 1-1 draw by Sunderland.
Joe Rodon went off early for Leeds after picking up an injury, and the Whites went one behind at the Stadium of Light.
However, Daniel Farke changed the system and his side rallied, with a stunning second-half equaliser that saw every player touch the ball.
Stach‘s impact in the goal was a pivotal one, and he was singled out for special praise after the clash on 28 December.

Stach scored a brilliant free-kick as Leeds beat Crystal Palace, and he was involved again as the Whites got back on terms against the Black Cats.
The German played a lovely pass to Brenden Aaronson, who played in Dominic Calvert-Lewin to level proceedings for the Elland Road outfit.
Former Liverpool and Fulham midfielder Danny Murphy loved what the 27-year-old did in the contest as he analysed the contest.
Speaking on Match of the Day on 28 December (22:41 pm), he said: “Wonderful goal, brilliant move, good passing, crisp.
Stach, as well, what a performance that he had, playing in the middle of the pitch.”

How did Stach rank amongst Leeds players vs Sunderland?
Stach was definitely one of the standout players for the Peacocks, as he was a constant presence on both sides of the ball.
In terms of touches, only Ethan Ampadu (86) and Pascal Struijk (83) had more than his 79, per Sofascore.
Brenden Aaronson (five) was the only Leeds star with more key passes than Stach’s three, and only Lucas Perri (seven) had more accurate long balls than his five.
Defensively, he made five tackles, which was the most for his side, and he also topped the Whites’ ranks for total duels won.
The former Hoffenheim man won 10 duels of the 15 that he attempted, with six successful duels on the ground and four in the air.
Murphy is right to enjoy what he witnessed from Stach, he was brilliant, and it is good to see him getting the recognition for a fantastic showing.
Farke and Co. need him to keep up these performances, as his influence has been crucial in the Yorkshire side’s recent run.
