Andy Gray exasperated at Leeds United player after what he did in loss vs Brighton – ‘No, no, no’
Leeds United’s struggles away from home continued as they were beaten 3-0 by Brighton on Saturday afternoon.
The Lilywhites have won just one of their opening five away games on their return to the Premier League, and they will return home empty-handed this weekend.
Danny Welbeck’s 11th-minute opener put Leeds on the back foot, before a second-half brace from Diego Gomez put the result beyond doubt, and condemned the visitors to another defeat on the road.
Daniel Farke will surely feel that his men could have earned more from their latest assignment, and Andy Gray has directed the blame towards one particular star.

Andy Gray frustrated at Lucas Perri moment vs Brighton
Lucas Perri has returned from injury for Leeds in the last few weeks, in what will be a major boost for the Whites moving forward.
The Brazilian completed a switch to West Yorkshire for a total fee of around £15million in the summer transfer window, and he quickly established himself as the number one goalkeeper for Farke in the early stages of the campaign.
The veteran Karl Darlow deputised effectively across September and the majority of October, but it was no surprise to see Perri come back in and regain his place upon his return to fitness.
He has been praised for his performances so far this season, but Gray felt that he was to blame for a key moment in Saturday’s game.
The gloveman raced off his line to challenge Mats Wieffer in the build-up to the hosts’ opening goal, but ultimately got nowhere near the Dutchman, who squared for Welbeck to finish.

“I don’t think the ‘keeper can get there,” Gray said during beIN Sports’ coverage of the game, in reference to Perri’s decision to come off his line.
“No, no, no. Absolutely not. Don’t come for it.”

Karl Darlow has outperformed Lucas Perri for Leeds this season
Perri’s injury at Leeds handed Darlow the opportunity to prove that he is still capable of being a first-choice option in the top flight.
| Perri | Stats | Darlow |
| 2 | Clean Sheets | – |
| 45.5% | Save Percentage | 61.9% |
| 1.3 | Saves per 90 | 2.6 |
| -2 | Goals Prevented | -2.70 |
| 1.5 | Goals Conceded per 90 | 1.6 |
The 35-year-old has been part of just a solitary victory while between the posts this term, but he could certainly argue that he has been hard done by with his return to the bench of late.
The Englishman has a significantly better save percentage than his Brazilian counterpart and has also made more saves per 90.
Perri has arguably been in goal for the team’s stronger performances, but individually, there is certainly a case to be made that Darlow has actually been the stronger performer so far.
