Ally McCoist wowed by Leeds United ace Stuart Dallas v Aston Villa

Ally McCoist was left stunned by Leeds United ace Stuart Dallas this evening in the Premier League against Aston Villa.

The Northern Irishman started at right-back once again, despite Robin Koch being available and playing in midfield.

Dallas nutmegged Douglas Luiz in one attack and it left McCoist with his tongue wagging live on commentary at Elland Road.

Speaking live on Amazon Prime coverage this evening, McCoist was wowed by the piece of skill from the utility man.

“Beautiful piece of skill from Dallas,” he said. “Another little nutmeg that went down well with the home fans.

“He’s been excellent – he’s one of these old schools, just throw him a jersey and he gets on with it.”

Magic.

You have to be brave to play at full-back for Leeds, and Dallas isn’t afraid of anything or anyone – we all know that.

Sometimes you are squared up with your man and you have to take him on with few if no passes available at the time.

Dallas did that superbly on this occasion, taking his man on with ease but then overhitting the pass, unfortunately, this time.

McCoist is magic on commentary, too, and when incidents like this happen, he is worth every single penny.

This has been the story, though, the final product has not been great in recent weeks, and although this was just a pass, it could have created a clear chance.

Once everything clicks, we will have plenty of chances although we need that to happen much sooner rather than later.
