Leeds United director of football Victor Orta has reportedly flown to numerous European countries over the last few days.

The Whites have been linked with players in Belgium, Italy and Germany, to name a few, and it's no surprise to see Orta on the move in the transfer window.

Kalvin Phillips is set to join Manchester City while Raphinha will also be out of the club sooner rather than later once the decision is made over which club will be buying him.

Yorkshire Evening Post's Graham Smyth wrote on Twitter, "As Leeds United director of football speaks to Spanish media (from an undisclosed Italy city) having flown all over Europe in recent days, the Whites are lining up deals."

This seems to be wise from Orta as he's got two marquee players to replace along with adding to the rest of the areas of the squad.

Even if both players stayed, Leeds would've needed at least two more new faces walking through the door.

Now, we won't be surprised if as many as five first-team players are signed this summer which would be a major overhaul to the Whites squad from last year.

However, Jesse Marsch does need a shake-up of this kind as the current squad is not good enough to finish higher than 15th and they need a few more X-Factor players walking through the door.
