It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

The Premier League has announced the officials for the Leeds United v West Ham game and it's a mixed bag as far as Whites supporters are concerned.

For the game on Friday night, Michael Oliver is the referee, with Stuart Burt and Simon Bennett as his assistants.

The fourth official is Darren England and maybe the most important man, on VAR, is Australian Jarred Gillett.

Oliver reffed the first game of the season for Leeds and awarded the first penalty of the game to the champions early on when Robin Koch handled.

He seemed to think it was a stonewall penalty but many people felt differently, including Jamie Carragher on the Sky Sports coverage who was moved to say "I can’t believe that."

The problem is that the ball struck Koch's knee before bouncing up and hitting his arm.

In the end, it was another penalty that did for Leeds, right at the end when Rodrigo tripped Fabinho, allowing Salah to complete his hat-trick.

Some Leeds fans haven't forgotten Darren England either, after an inept display in the Leeds game against Millwall from January.

He was so bad Andrea Radrizzani called for improvements to officials after the game.

VAR has been a massive part of the season and there seems to be controversies every week.

Jarred Gillett is a good referee in our opinion and he should keep a steady hand on the proceedings from Stockley Park, although not everyone is convinced by him either.

Here are the reactions from Leeds fans to the appointments...
