Dion Dublin was not a fan of the decision making or the football that was played between Leeds United and Aston Villa.

The game ended 0-0 and there was a red card and a penalty appeal that was waved away by Stuart Attwell.

As footage emerged of the highlights and the Tyrone Mings-Liam Cooper incident, in particular, Dublin, a Sky Sports pundit, made his opinion clear.

Leeds United

He told Premier League Productions' Weekend Wrap-up (03/10, 16:20), "It was an awful game, not a good one to referee. This [penalty claim] was a bad moment. Lots of inconsistencies throughout."

Not the best of games

Leeds have had some brilliant performances this season and some bad ones and this was right there with one of the worst.

Barring a good spell at the start of the first half, the Whites failed to control proceedings.

In a way, many would say they were lucky to not concede a goal as Villa went on to create a lot of chances and even amassed an xG of around 2.6 compared to Leeds' 0.32.

At Elland Road, this was not the kind of performance many expected from the hosts and Jesse Marsch will certainly be disappointed.

There were plenty of things he would not have liked throughout the game and Luis Sinisterra's absence will now pose him a fresh dilemma.

Patrick Bamford is expected to come in and lead the line but it remains to be seen how the rest of the team bounce back after two disappointing performances.
