We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United...

Paul Robinson has insisted that Leeds United need to sell Jack Harrison as soon as possible if they decide to sanction his exit from Elland Road this summer.

The ex-Whites stopper has shared that Victor Orta and Jesse Marsch will need time to replace him quickly after strong links to Newcastle United.

The Magpies have been linked with a move for the winger, and have even had an £18million offer rejected as Football Insider shared their interest.

"I think it's going to be really difficult if they let him go," he exclusively told MOT Leeds News.

"To let two or three Premier League players with experience leave, and bring in six with no Premier League experience, it's a gamble.

"When you're dealing the likes of Newcastle though, money talks, they have the finances to do the deal. If they do sell Jack Harrison, they need to make sure they don't undersell him but they need to make sure he is sold in time for the manager to put the money back into the squad."

No chance.

Leeds need to stand strong on this one.

Marsch has made it clear that Harrison is not for sale, and the winger himself made his future more clear after his interview last week made it seem as though he was open.

The Whites are reported to have told Newcastle to double their money if they want to sign the winger, and have set an early demand of £35million [iNews].

That is big money and big profit for someone they signed for just above £10million, but Harrison is worth much more than that to this side now that Raphinha has moved on.

It would make no sense to sanction this move.
