It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

Transfer speculation is ramping up as the end of the season approaches and on Tuesday it was reported by Croatian outlet sportske novosti that Leeds United had tabled an offer for £17m-rated Borna Sosa.

Leeds are after a left-back and Sosa fits the bill – the 23-year-old Stuttgart player has registered 10 assists in just 24 games in the Bundesliga.

However, according to Mirror journalist David Anderson, the report was wide of the mark.

On Twitter on Wednesday Anderson said, "From what I'm told, Leeds have not made an approach to Stuttgart for their Croatian defender Borna Sosa."

Left-backs will be linked

Sosa wants a move to the Premier League according to sportske novosti – so much so that he applied for German citizenship to help with a work permit.

It could be that this is no more than an agent realising that Leeds need a left-back and working to get his client in the frame.

The two names that we've heard of from more reliable sources are Romain Perraud from Stade Brest and Ajax left-back Nicolás Tagliafico.

We've no doubt that we'll be linked with more left-backs as the summer window draws nearer.

One name that Leeds fan have latched onto today is Ryan Bertrand, who is set to leave Southampton at the end of the season when his contract expires.

He's 31 and while we're sure he could do a job, we want to see a long-term solution brought in to tackle a problem that's been at Leeds for a while now.

Either Perraud or Tagliafico would do us fine.
