Rasmus Kristensen has no future at Leeds United, crucial funds update drops

David Norris believes Leeds United should cut any losses to sell Rasmus Kristensen as soon as possible at Elland Road.

Kristensen is currently on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt, who have already decided they want to keep the 27-year-old, costing up to £10million [Florian Plettenberg].

Norris, speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, says the Danish international will not return to Elland Road and make any kind of impact again.

"Kristensen has no future at Leeds," he said.

"Frankfurt will be figuring out what to do with him but I think Leeds will be happy just to receive some money for him - he hasn't been part of the squad for a long time.

"The funds from Kristensen can be used in a crucial area elsewhere - Leeds should just cut any kind of loss to get players like him off the books when they need to invest in the squad."

Kristensen is currently embarking on the second of two exciting loan spells on paper, having made 31 appearances for Roma last season.

Timmo Hardung, Eintracht's sporting director, has confirmed there is no definite update on their decision yet and they will continue to assess the player.

Kristensen has made it clear by his actions that playing for Leeds is not a priority, and the club will not be keeping players around whose minds are elsewhere.
