EFL on Quest pundit Sam Parkin has been blown away by the last couple of performances of Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

Parkin sent a message of hope to the Whites fans, claiming that for their sake Marcelo Bielsa's men can continue this run of form after beating Bristol City 1-0 at Elland Road.

Looking at the attacking momentum graph from Sofa Score highlighted the dominance of the Whites, as the likes of Phillips stopped Bristol from getting any foothold in the clash.

Parkin singled out Phillips as one of the players who has been essential for the recent upturn in fortunes for the Whites.

"Kalvin Phillips, in front of those two centre-halves as he did at Griffin Park today, exceptional once again," he said during EFL on Quest.

"We felt Leeds would come again, they have done this week and hopefully for their supporters, they are on the up now."

The 24-year-old was excellent at Brentford, and although it was a much-quieter performance against Bristol, he still proved his class in every area.

Bristol never got going in the final third, and Phillips was key to that. The midfielder completed 11 ball recoveries. He also proved his worth going forward, creating three chances for the Whites - both the joint-most on the entire pitch according to LUFC DATA.

Phillips was everywhere once again and is proving each week that he is more than Premier League quality at Elland Road - something he is looking to bring back to West Yorkshire.
