Leeds United will face a familiar foe when they play the third round of the Carabao Cup against Nottingham Forest.

The Whites started their Premier League campaign with a 1-0 victory at the City Ground on Saturday to get Daniel Farke's side up and running.

Just three days after Anton Stach's free-kick settled that game, the Whites are back at the City Ground on Tuesday in a coincidental fixture list twist.

Leeds suffered disappointment against local rivals Sheffield Wednesday at the same stage just 12 months ago, losing a penalty shoot-out to the Owls.

Farke will be hoping for a different outcome on this occasion, albeit against tougher opposition in Oliver Glasner's men.

Leeds fans will be travelling in numbers again to the City Ground, as they do all over the country for any fixture.

But, for those not among the travelling contingent to see if Leeds can progress in the Carabao Cup, there are ways for supporters to watch at home.

First and foremost, the game - which kicks off at 8pm UK time - has been selected to be shown live on terrestrial TV, with ITV showing the game.

The match can also be watched on both Sky Sports Main Event, and Sky Sports Football in the UK, so the fixture is readily available.

Hopefully, those watching along at home will get the opportunity to witness a second victory of the season over the Tricky Trees already.

What's going on with Leeds in the transfer window?

These early season fixtures are, of course, taking place amid a backdrop of a hive of transfer activity across the Premier League.
