Welcome back Leeds United. It was a case of the same old story in the 2-0 defeat against Cardiff as the Whites dominated but left Wales with no points.

Marcelo Bielsa will have been happy with the level of performance from his squad, but two mistakes have led to them slipping to second in the table.

Junior Hoilett and Robert Glatzel capitalised on those mistakes as Leeds missed the chance to go 10 points clear of third-placed Fulham.

It isn't the end of the world, as the Cottagers also lost 2-0 on Saturday to local rivals Brentford meaning that the seven-point gap is maintained.

Leeds fans struggled to pick out a man of the match after the defeat though, with no player catching the eye massively over his other teammates.

Stuart Dallas played both left-back and right-back in the game, as he continued his versatile ways successfully.

The Northern Irish international had two shots on goal, as well as two key passes as he spent the majority of his time attacking down the left-hand side trying to open up the Cardiff defence [WhoScored].

One of the biggest things to come out of this game was fans claiming that Dallas is one of the Whites' consistent performers, with the 29-year-old being able to handle the pressure of this promotion push.

There will be doubts creeping in and Leeds will need their biggest players to step up and be counted between now and the end of the season.

Dallas our only decent performer today. Everyone else looked a mile off match sharpness. No final ball. Get Pablo back in this side and quick! #lufc

Dallas always been able to handle pressure of big games. Can’t say that about a Leeds player since 1992

Probably only dallas can come off the pitch and think he had a decent game rest of them bottled it

Bamford offered little for me today. Very slow and hold up play wasn’t good enough. Final ball was shocking from the wide men. Dallas was our best player today. We were so sloppy. Need to be much better against Fulham which is a must win for me. #lufc

Dallas and Harrison were solid. That’s it
